German Navy Set (1 Viewer)

Thanks Ray, now that you mention it I'm pretty sure I've seen that one. Only problem is I think Del Prado is an even bigger scale than K&C plus it's only one figure and not an action pose.

Yes CS, the lack of action on the Del Prado figures was always an issue for me as well.

When I lived in Barcelona in 1965-1967, I went to school with Russ Derek, the son of John Derek, who was married to Ursula Andress at the time. Russ was something else, always getting drunk on the weekend, etc. so you can imagine what he said about his stepmother. Can't repeat it here!

You guys are dreaming. Unless Andy's completely lost it, which I doubt, I can't see any destroyers or such on the way. We are talking about 1/30 or 1/32 scale here, folks. These ain't no Revell plastic kits.

Yes, the Bismarck is probably out but E-boats were much smaller.

Speaking of impossible 1/32 scale ships, how about a scale battleship Texas for the Iwo Jima line? Now, how many feet long would that be? About 20 feet? Heck, why not? Put it on the front lawn!
Bet the neighbors would love it....
Or the USS Intrepid...

Exactly jazzeum were, at least im, hoping he has lost it and will start making huge polystone or metal ships. But before he makes the ships he must make my P.1000 Ratte

An e boat would be sweet but how big would it be and how much do you think it would cost.

That's a nice looking model and I'm sure would look splendid but what would it go with? I don't think Andy or any manufacturer is going to make one of just something; it would have to fit into a scene. So, do you have a dock, other ships, etc.? Starts to get expensive and possibly unwieldly from a display aspect.

what do the warbirds go with other than other warbirds. i mean they cant go in displays because of the black stand opposed to a clear one. i mean they could go with ground crews but im not sure if there are any of those.

K&C has made RAF Groundcrews, RAF, Luftwaffe, U.S. Marines, Flying Tiger & Japanese Pilots, an Austin K2 RAF Ambulance, Bedford QL RAF Fuel Bowser, Austin Tilly RAF Utility vehicle, RAF Quonset Hut, RAF Control Tower, and is in the process of custom making me an RAF Hanger. There are future plans to make more pilots, groundcrew & related vehicles/diorama materials to go with the regular production warbirds. The strictly limited warbirds all go awesome with these figures/diorama materials. Take a look at some of the photos of the RAF airfield diorama Gordon Neilson of K&C put together using the above elements in my museum (I'm sure there are some posted somewhere on this site).

Richard, if you are going to the Chicago show, you will get a look at an amazing custom made K&C diorama built for me that will be perfect for displaying various warbirds . . . I won't say any more because I want it to be a suprise.

Dear Louis,
Please quit dropping hints.:) From your various posts and hints from Andy, I now know many of the dioramas and surprises that K&C will be bringing to Chicago. I still want to be surprised (and amazed) by something from K&C.:D
