German Navy Set (1 Viewer)

A dockyard scene would work for the kriegsmarine. Tons of possibilities with that similar to the ground support for the warbirds.

Andrea models did such a scene including the conning tower and deck gun of a U-boat. This way its not necessary to make a whole boat. I think this would look great.

And it would be 12x better if it was K&C

When and where are they still available. Any pictures? My dad was looking for something like that. It would be cool if they were manning a deck gun.

Thank you Pierre. That is what I am talking about.

A bit pricey at 102 euros but doable. Wonder what the shipping is.

Anyone know if there is a distributor for Andrea in the US?

Very cool Pierre. do you have a lot of Andrea figures?

None. But I wish to have a lot. My main problem is my complete lack of talent for painting professionally those figures.

As far as the painted ones are concerned, I find them too expensive.

Pierre.

I sure hope Andy does some great German Navy figures - it would be really cool to have some with our other German Officers and Fighting men

To inspire Andy, here are a couple of sets of the Kriegsmarine from Hiriart in 54-mm and glossy paint.

Photo one: Set 1048 Kriegsmarine marching with German naval flag.

Photo two: Another view of 1048. I have also seen this set with the figures wearing helmets.

Photo three: Set 1067 U-Boote with Admiral Karl Doenitz.

Photo four: Another view of 1067.

Hi UCLA1967,

The figures in your photographs are beautiful! Thank you for posting the pictures. I frequently marvel at the depth and wonder of your collection. You must be very proud of it. I know I would be.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

Richard,

I used to think like you when I first got started but over time I've come to like the glossy figures and really appreciate them. Over time, you may too.
