Infraction System
I received an infraction. What does this mean?
If a post, link, image or message is in violation of the forum guidelines a warning or infraction may be given to the user.
Infractions include but are not limited to:
- Inappropriate Image
- Inappropriate Language
- Insulted Fellow Member
- Namecalling/Slur
- Rude Remark
- Threadjacking
- Threatening Comment
- Trolling
- Spam (automatic ban)
Each offense carries an infraction value of 1-5 depending on severity. If you receive an infraction you will be moved into one of the following infraction usergroups:
- Level 1 - Moderated Status (1-25 points)
- Level 2 - Read-Only Status (Posting Privileges Revoked) (26-50)
- Level 3 - Temporarily Banned Status (51 and over)
Moderated status retains all member privileges except that posts will remain in moderation queue until a mod can review them. They will be visible to the community only if approved by a moderator.
Persons on Read-Only Status cannot post, leave visitor messages, participate in polls or use the PM or email system.
Persons who are temporarily banned lose all member privileges for the duration of their ban.
A person receiving an infraction will receive notice by PM or email along with information on which infraction was given and for how many points. Members who repeatedly disrupt the forum will be dealt with on an individual basis as the moderation council sees fit.
