Estate lawyer indicated to the Gettysburg, PA dealer that this wool Union cavalry coat was worn in the movie Dances with Wolves. I saw the movie, and could not spot it in any of the military post scenes. But the price I paid for this item was a steal, and a nice show piece with my Civil War Diorama displays. It is nicely made, correct period buttons, and fully cotton lined. Need pants, belt, and burgundy sash to complete the outfit.
