Thanks for your comments. I made 5 musical boxes during a period of artistic experimentation of differing sizes and various cams. The only thing that I bought was the musical box. Everything was scrap or discarded toy pieces. The violinist has separate hands, upper body and head. Thus when the handle is turned, he actuallly moves quite nicely. The external wires allow for fine-tuning of the actual movements.
