Examining the Instruction drawings in further detail, and by comparison to articles on the QF 18 Pounder in WW1, it looks possible that the Drawing showing the Guns Ammunition Shell or Shot rounds, could also be incorrect.
It is possible the Model Shells supplied do NOT conform to the correct type then in use for the Ordinance QF 13 or bigger 18 LB Gun.
If this turns out to be the case, Max Chevallier will engineer new scale model shells for the Kits.
