Hi Lawrence,
Thanks for posting this tiger. This is the one I said to you the track with tan colour which was shown in toysoldiersusa.com under 96 brochure. Curious, can you advise where did you find this one? Besides, this tiger's body shape is the same as K&C still owns one(always shown up in their collector magazine). And it is different from your previous 101,201 and 402 as well as Louis' one in the K&C book. We can see this one's has more details than the above. But the wheels of this tiger is flat in the outer side, same as the one in toysoldiersusa brochure. K&C owns one has the correct shape of the wheel, ie concave inside.

Do you have any info re the 4 types that I mentioned to you in my email? Which is the first batch and how many was made (50??), I guess different factories produced various types. But the number K&C made should be limited, I think, according to them, 5 samples plus 50. Then may be another lot of 20,30....ie why there are some different types now produced.

It is great to see the photos of your new acquired Trophy Leopard. Did you buy it from another collectors?? Here in Australia we have limited collectors and I only know one who collects Britains.

Also love to see your Trophy Boxers, I found Mr Tommy Allison album as well. Very colourful figures.

Have a nice day.

Hon,
Actually found this from a collector I have known for a number of years who finally decided to let them go. The Leopard came from another collection.
As for the tigers, they were produced many years ago and are no longer made in wood/resin. My memory is a little fuzzy, but I remember speaking with Andy and that he had various factories in China and the Philippines make them. He switched around because of costs and timeliness or lack therof, of deliveries. I do not know exactly how many were made of each, but they were made in small numbers. I will try to speak to Louis to see what he has in his notes. K&C also had an article in their Collector magazine which I will try to locate and see if there is more info there.
As for the Trophy Boxers, I am still missing a few sets, but I am patient and willing to wait. I know of several collectors here who have the range and you just have to keep in contact with them. They have promised to offer the sets to me once they are ready to let go. I am almost at that stage myself as I have limited space and I just can't keep everything. Let me know what you are interested in and I will keep you posted.
