Hi, Excuse my ignorance, but does anybody know if these figures are compatible with the Sudan in 1885 or 1898 or neither? I've never seen 'slouch hats' in any Sudan war's pictues. Just wondering.

I love this series. This might seem odd, but I like the 'chunkiness' of the figures. Very similar to the Snowshows figures! They feel substantial when you hold them. Pete
