I have to agree! These are markedly different! The added adornments, tied up tails, detailed bridles, and the horse coloring and painting is much much more compelling! AND did Roman Nose really sport THREE Colt 45's???
Very well done figure! Love the research going into these! I know little about individual dress of these warriors and chiefs.
These really help me fill out my imagination as to reality.
I think these look great! if they are doing other actions besides the battle of the Rosebud, like Beecher's...
I wanted to be sure to post my appreciation of well done items.
I bought this figure of the miner with his gear
as I thought it was VERY well done. They all seem to be.
particularly the plaid shirt, the color and texture of the pan, wood, metal bits the blanket rope etc.
I don't think I can...
These look very realistic! And they are not all the same height! I get why making different heights of figures is more challenging to stay in scale. But this looks very real. Are they modeled to represent the heights of the actual men in comparison?
I really like the JJD US cavalry line. it's one of my favorite subjects. And these are interesting. they both have un-piped shell jackets.
No yellow trim. Which was common. Also the slouch hats are a nice departure, very common especially late war and in the west.
The thing I do not like about...
I wanted to make sure I noted a small but enjoyable thing I found with a figure I recently purchased.
Most of these figures that depict famous or celebrated images of people in history looks SOMEWHAT like the person
they depict.
In my opinion the W.Britains museum figure of Admiral Chester...
M10 is looking good. First ready built Armor model I've had with a driver figure. This is the one from the W. Britains tank crew set.
He did not fit into the hatch either from top or inside. I had to remove quite a bit of his torso to get it done.
He sits low in the hatch opening per many I've...
My main gun barrel was pretty firm, it stayed in position wherever I moved it. However vibration from modifying the breech changed that.
Now it is very free moving. It looks pretty good now.
I think with the crew it makes a very impressive display. I need to trim down the breech block a little more and scallop the top, and then paint it a more fitting shade
but so far I like it!
Oh yeah, it could be. a very early one or something. I'm still very impressed with it, and recommend it to collectors as is!
Overall, it's a nice model worthy of any collection!
I've already changed it. For them to do that would be to change the tool to mold the gun breech. Not sure they want to do that.
They could but all those models made now can't be corrected. I'm not sure they would be able to change those. Unless the breech block part was separate from rest of gun...
My M10 Arrived. Love the gear add ons for turret and engine deck. Nice touch of extras.
The two figures are well done too! easily posed to be well shown.
only one complaint.
The main gun breech block seems to be sitting way way too high in the breech??
when closed the top of the block was...
very very nice display! even tactics look correct. the crew is looking in believable directions for potential threats, and the main gun is pointed down road towards the next bend and ready for what may be there.
and yes, the foliage is well placed and looks real. If I was the TC, I'd rather...
