eBay ceased to be a third party offering a service the moment they started deciding disputes between parties. Like 99% percent of the time siding with a buyer over a seller, and removing funds from their accounts.

Good points, I'm always amazed that the members on the various forums I participate in think that they are the sole customer base for that specific hobby. 80% of of my customers don't even know that this forum exists, but they all know about Facebook.
