I love your rendition of Ricks in Casablanca. I have been staging my own mini vignette using a 50 year old piano player from phoenix model developments and some recent K&C figures. Looks like I will need to make a major major conversion of Andreas Bond, unless Andy can come up with a Rick...
After this I suspect they will be returning to their day jobs, as sedan chair porters. (Currently they are being modified to replace the horrible porters that came with the 50 year old kit of the chair by Phoenix model developments. Stay tuned)
This reply ment to complement the fine work of blaster. In fact it was the incentive to complete this piece and read the book noted below

Re: Mfca 2024-Gold medal award
Pleased to have been awarded Gold medal for my display of phoenix model developments 50 year old Bygone Age carriages and carts, complimented with K&C and Britains figures. Look in Modelling and Kit building thread of this forum for detailed step by step build...
Fine work. I enjoy following your progress and look forward to your final product. I am currently working on a bust of Churchill ,representative of his participation in the charge

enjoy
The R9 figure you have above is very close to what I started with. I must of had a variant, as mine had no hat and stockings and shoes. Either way, they are a great base line for a conversion
as far as next set…………I will let you decide1
choices are;
-COSTOMONGER CART, with figures
-ROYAL...
The Figures.....A chimney sweep and his son. Both figures by Phoenix cast about 50 years ago, right out of my grey army and ready for conversion. The father had his head replaced with the Andrea Zorro figure as I really needed the hat. Bent the rim up and added a plastic piece of...
