Greetings Collectors! I run The Lodge Auction House in Buffalo, NY and we have recently consigned a large collection from a life-long collector of vintage toy soldiers. The collection includes Britains, Trophy Miniatures, Marlborough Collector Models, Ducal, Steadfast Soldiers, Tradition Soldiers, Alymer Military Miniatures & more. There are many sets still in the original boxes & packaging.

The entire catalog is available at our website. The auction is available for bidding now! The auction ends on May 6th at 5:00 PM EST beginning with Lot #1. The Toy Soldiers Collection begins at Lot # 248.

Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks!

Here's a quick preview of some of the Lots available:

I took a look at the upcoming auction and they have a lot of nice Trophy sets, many with low starting bids.

As they should.
I’d disagree. Some auction houses have different approaches. At OTSA this would have a higher starting bid. In any event, whether the starting bid is low or high, these will probably do well. You can’t compare these auctions to eBay, which is a different animal. Many of the people who bid on these auctions don’t bother with eBay.

Here's the URL to their website: https://thelodgeauction.com/

And this is the URL for the specific auction: https://thelodgeauction.com/auction/322-may-6th-online/

They've lost points with me by not including that info in the original post.

I found it easiest to pull up the auction and then search on "soldier", though there still may be a lot or two that that search does not return.

The "Vintage Painted Lead Civil War Soldiers (16)" looks like it's mostly Imrie-Risley kit figures, and not too well painted.

The Britains boxed sets'll probably be of interest to Britains collectors.

Prost!
Brad
