Hello Julie,
I came up with this section because I have a few suggestions or requests for John Jenkins, to which you might be able to get some answers from him...

1/ Will John expand this year on the Cheyenne theme, which was abruptly discontinued after only two figurines?

2/ Could John incorporate the Kushites, allies of the Egyptians at the Battle of Kadesh, in the same way as the Nubians and Libyans?

3/ Has John considered creating a Libyan chariot?
They were present at Kadesh.

4/ Could John create a Sioux tipi and another Cheyenne tipi?
There is a high demand for this accessory.

There you go... well, I've looked at my parish, it's true, but I'm sure many collectors will support these requests...

In any case, I thank you in advance for any progress you can make on these requests based on real market demand...

Many thanks for your questions.

1/ Will John expand this year on the Cheyenne theme, which was abruptly discontinued after only two figurines?

The 2 Cheyene Dog soldier figures were part of the SSB series. The SSB series included over 20 mounted warriors. I decided I need to take a break from this popular series. There will be a continuation of the SSB and RSB series in the future, which hopefully will include a Crooks figure, cavalry standard bearers, as well as Crow warriors fighting Sioux Warriors.

2/ Could John incorporate the Kushites, allies of the Egyptians at the Battle of Kadesh, in the same way as the Nubians and Libyans?

There are still 4 chariots still to be released, as well as another 2 in the planning stage. I will have to see if there is time and demand for any Kushite allies. It is a bit one sided at the moment and I am concentrating on the Hittites at the moment.

3/ Has John considered creating a Libyan chariot?
They were present at Kadesh.

I have not considered a Libyan chariot, and am not aware there were any. Thank you for drawing my attention to this, I will see if I can find any more information on Libyan chariots as... more the merrier!

4/ Could John create a Sioux tipi and another Cheyenne tipi?
There is a high demand for this accessory.

These are been considered, and of course would be a great addition to the Fur Trade series.

- Looking forward to those ''Crow warriors fighting Sioux warriors''.

Many thanks for your questions.

First of all, I would like to express my sincere thanks for your responsiveness and the content of your replies...
This is a wealth of new information, and I didn't expect so much!
It allows me to look ahead to the future and the development of my dioramas.
A big thank you to Julie for connecting with John and allowing me and many collectors to learn about these projects!

Hello Julie!

I'm getting back to you with an update on some suggestions I previously made to John.

Following his responses, could you please forward the following questions?

Thank you in advance; this will be of great interest to many collectors of the Qadesh theme!

1/ Has John made any progress on the decision to develop the Kushite ally? Can he give us some information on this crucial ally of the Egyptians at Qadesh?

2/ John was intrigued by the presence of Libyan chariots at Qadesh... here is some information on the existence of these chariots...
"Originally, the Libyan forces were entirely composed of infantry using clubs, javelins, and bows. During the New Kingdom period, they acquired some chariots, mainly reserved for the leaders, and a large number of longswords of the Sea Peoples type."

3/ John didn't answer the question about the possibility of a new series about the Amazons. What's the status of that?

4/ Is the Mittanian tank featured in a sketch for Advent 2024 still relevant?
Can we hope for it this year?

Thanks again, Julie, for your help in passing on these questions.

Good news John is concentrating on getting some Hitites produced.
