It always begins innocently—just one or two Trophy sets to bring life to a display shelf. Then somehow, a decade later, your guest room is full of charging Highlanders, the garage is fortified with Sudanese gun crews, and the attic groans under the weight of Alamo defenders still in their original packaging.

This thread is for those brave souls who’ve crossed from casual collector into full-scale commander of the Red Box Legion.

We need to know just three things from you:

  1. How many years have you been collecting Trophy?
  2. What is the estimated size of your army? (No need for exact numbers—round guesses are fine. We’re collectors, not inventory clerks!)
  3. Where does your army reside? On full display, hidden in boxes, or both?

To give it some perspective, here’s our tongue-in-cheek Trophy Order of Battle scale:

  • 1–50: The Local Militia
  • 51–150: The Light Battalion
  • 151–400: The Royal Regiment
  • 401–800: Brigade Strength
  • 801–1500: Field Army
  • 1501–3000: Empire Corps HQ
  • 3000+: The Supreme Expeditionary Force (aka “You may have a problem”)

So fess up—how many years, how many troops, and are they parading proudly or hiding like Wellington before dawn?

Warning: Side effects may include envy, admiration, and the sudden urge to buy “just one more set.”

We await your report, Commander!

Looks like everyone's being shy—as usual when a new thread starts. So I guess it's up to me to break the ice and charge in first. Here are my answers to the big three!

1. Since 2009 (16 years)
2. Empire Corps HQ

3. Hidden in boxes
