Hi Guys,

The FV107 Scimitar is the second of The Blues and Royals’ Armoured Reconnaissance Vehicles, renowned for its combat role in the Falklands Conflict alongside the FV101 Scorpion.

This ‘Scimitar’ is in the familiar British Army camouflage scheme of olive drab and black, typical of the 1980s and comes complete with a head ‘n’ shoulders driver figure as well as a three quarters vehicle commander in the open turret hatch.

If you already own the K&C Falklands Scorpion, this new FV107 Scimitar makes the perfect companion piece!

The video also highlights previous releases including Royal Marines, Argentinean Defenders, and even the special order Westland Wessex that you might have missed, but which will help complete your stunning display.

All the very best,
Andy

Agree they look so good with each other. I am thrilled to say the least. I did take the liberty of adding a little more baggage on the Scorpion. These little armoured vehicles ( light tanks ), were utilised extensively, from carrying fuel, ammunition, prisoners, wounded and even had solders drying their socks on the engine grille. Only 8 involved in this war, but they proved themselves invaluable. My thanks to Andy once again for producing such excellent models. Robin.

Thank you Steve. The Falkland series is right up there with my favourites. First announced December 2020, 5 years on and I can still be excited by it, no doubt like you with the Roman series. The wait time between releases is challenging, but I guess it’s a niche market, so I am very thankful for whatever is offered. Would be very happy if some more Para’s and Marines fronted up, but patience is a virtue.😀. Robin.
