Hi Guys,
Last October I was fortunate enough to be staying with my good friend Craig Warner and his wife in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Whilst there Craig told me about (and showed me) a whole bunch of great toy soidier videos on You Tube featuring, among others, the work of King & Country.
All together I must have watched almost a dozen of these videos, all produced by and for ‘Operation Toy Box’ and was very impressed by the enthusiasm and enjoyment of the guy behind them.
Once back in Hong Kong I reached out to the gentleman concerned to say how much I appreciated his work and suggested we speak so that we could ‘fill in the blanks’ of both of our lives and background and see if we could spread the word about collecting toy soldiers in general and K&C’s story in particular.
Over a couple of weeks and several long ‘zoom calls’ we provided each other with as much information as was relevant to both the hobby and business of toy soldier collecting and producing.
I like to think it was both useful and, I hope, entertaining for both of us and a wider audience that might also find it interesting.
