I painted the face and added black edgings for the lace decorations. The jacket was painted a bright blue.

I had forgotten about this piece. Took it out to start ptg again.

I located the ref for this mameluke trumpeter.

Made a start of the lace and trousers. Will let it dry and sculpt some areas. Some of my early work was a bit rough. So I have to go back and redo areas.

Resculpting the collar. Got to do this in stages due to the small area for conversion.
