During a recent visit to Ireland, I stopped in at Prince August's toy soldier factory in Kilnamartyra, Co. Cork. It was about a 40 minute drive outside of Cork and was worth the visit. I ended up buying some of their painted Napoleonic Irish Legion.

Brendan,

thanks for posting the images of your trip to the Emerald Isle and visiting Prince August Factory/Showroom.

That has been on 'must see' list for many years, about 25, since I first purchased some of their Molds and cast my own army.

Seems like you had a great time there, hope all of your holiday has been just as good, you have deserved some R&R.

John - it's well worth the visit. I hope you get the chance to go. So much potential with all of their Nap moulds.

Brendan

Yes, I have most of the 54mm Nap moulds, and this set was my most impressive, but using a few other arms for the instruments to have a full band.
