yea...they beat up on the hapless #8 seed Suns...OKC looks really good.
but wait until the mighty Lakers get a hold of them...

How about Kennard...lol...31 minutes...0-6 from the field...scored 1 point on 2 free throws...The Lakers motto is "if you are going to lose, then lose big." Everyone looked awful last night except for Ayton who has otherwise looked awful in this series. LeBron looked his age for once. The turnovers were brutal. OCK will beat them by 1000 points if they continue with that. Onward to LA.
If Houston can shoot threes like that, the Lakers are in trouble. I don't think they can keep that up. Ayton was the only guy on the Lakers who played well. Smart was awful. Kennard was awful. Too many turnovers again and they couldn't hit the threes. How about Kennard...lol...31 minutes...0-6 from the field...scored 1 point on 2 free throws...
I would have rather had Bronny in there...even as bad as he is...
at least Reaves looked healthy...
gonna go 7 now...
Lakers were in trouble...are in trouble and will stay in trouble...I'm happy with where they are now...I think there will be a Game 7 and I think the Lakers will win it...but it doesn't matter other than I would be glad to see them advance and then they are gonna get crushed by OKC...would like to see Luca in at least one playoff game though...I am glad there is another Lakers fan on here who can feel my pain and converse enthusiastically about them....If Houston can shoot threes like that, the Lakers are in trouble. "Section 24220 of the 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (Thanks Biden) requires the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to issue a standard for all new 2026 and beyond passenger vehicles to include 'advanced impaired driving prevention technology.'
This passive system detects if a driver is impaired (e.g., blood alcohol concentration at or above 0.08% or poor driving performance) and prevent or limit the vehicle from operating."
Imagine this BS "kill switch" causing your vehicle to shut down in life-threatening emergencies, such as a woman fleeing an attacker or an injured person racing for help.
So if it's snowing and I am all over the road, will it shut down? Or if I'm speeding?
Why is this in the "things I like" thread?
Because my 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee that I am leasing will be THE last vehicle I ever have, once the lease is up, I'm buying it and that's all she wrote.
What next; getting tracked as to where you go, where you drive, how far you drive?
Again; thanks Biden.
I think because the other thread was 86'd....Why is this in the "things I like" thread?...

86'd...I think because the other thread was 86'd.
thanks on the well wishes...but even of the Lakers can win 1 of their 2 last games to advance...OKC will absolutely crush them...will only take them 4 games to send them to the golf course...I'm out on watching the Celtics anymore this year; enough is enough.
They have no answers for Embid, Maxey and George.................Queta is a foul waiting to happen, Vuc is a traffic cone on defense, Embid backs into either of them and hits his shot over and over and over, or he kicks out to Maxey and George, who either hit a 3 or drive to the basket.
Tatum "tweaked" his left calf, the same leg that he blew his achilles out on, I would not put him out there, not worth it.
Even if by some miracle they win game 7, the Knicks are waiting and I've seen that movie before.
They had a nice season without Tatum for most of it, but all good things come to an end.
Best of luck to Mike and Doug and their Lakers, they should win at home and advance.
The Celtics are on their way to Cancun.
They're 1-2 at home is this series, they have less than no HCA.thanks on the well wishes...but even of the Lakers can win 1 of their 2 last games to advance...OKC will absolutely crush them...will only take them 4 games to send them to the golf course...
Boston will win the series...at home for the final game...they will rain 3 pointers from half court and further...they got that one George...you're good...
If after watching this video and anyone thinks this is still a good idea, I give up."Section 24220 of the 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (Thanks Biden) requires the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to issue a standard for all new 2026 and beyond passenger vehicles to include 'advanced impaired driving prevention technology.'

Mike, the biggest problem with the Celtics the past two years is their issues stem from taking their foot off the gas with a big lead.thanks on the well wishes...but even of the Lakers can win 1 of their 2 last games to advance...OKC will absolutely crush them...will only take them 4 games to send them to the golf course...

I think you're in good shape George...I would truly be surprised if they lost a clutch game at home...it fact I expect a blowout by the Celts as they are at home and should be HIGHLY MOTIVATED...Mike, the biggest problem with the Celtics the past two years is their issues stem from taking their foot off the gas with a big lead.
Up 63-50 in Game 5 and they started playing with their food, they let the Sixers get in rhythm and get confident and the momentum has shifted to the 76er's.
Last year vs the Knicks, they blew not one but two back to back 20 plus point leads, went down 0-2 at home, won game 3 in NY, then Tatum blew out his achilles and that was that.
Leave it to Embid to play out of his mind since coming back in this series; the Celtics need to go right at him on offense, get him running around on defense and either tire out or commit lazy fouls, on offense, the Celtics have no one who can stop him in the paint.
If they lose this series, I think it's time to break up the J's...............they've won a whopping one championship together, they should have won at least two and probably three, if I'm the GM, I listen to offers on Brown.
They live by the three, they die by it, feast or famine.I think you're in good shape George...I would truly be surprised if they lost a clutch game at home...it fact I expect a blowout by the Celts as they are at home and should be HIGHLY MOTIVATED...
now here's a stat below that I don't like...that old "live and die by" stat...but it has been successful for them...until shots aren't dropping...
The Boston Celtics are the NBA team that shoots the most 3-pointers, leading the league in both attempts and makes during the 2024-25 season, averaging roughly 50 attempts per game. They broke the single-season team record for 3-pointers made and often hold the highest volume in recent, high-paced games.
In a perfect world it would be great...while I'm not arguing for it...and don't want it on my car...If after watching this video and anyone thinks this is still a good idea, I give up.
I get it about the drunk driving/on drugs scenario, but there are too many variables/things that can go wrong with this.
These aren't cars/vehicles anymore, they are rolling computers. In a perfect world it would be great...while I'm not arguing for it...and don't want it on my car...
1/3 of the auto fatalities caused by inebriated drivers is a HUGE NUMBER...too big to ignore...
I had a friend in my early 20's...lost touch with him many years ago...he was t-boned by a truck while he was driving his fiberglass Corvette...
my friend lived...but he was a paraplegic...the driver of the truck was skunk drunk and went to prison...
everybody knows a story like this...
I see many down sides to new car technology...
Tesla's can't handle a railroad crossing...
auto steering/auto emergency braking on some cars...
I don't want those on my car...
but don't turn my car off...
if I'm in a jam...I'm gonna run you over to escape...
maybe instead of an auto kill button...the headlights would flicker on and off...
maybe a piercing siren to alert people to get away from you...
I don't know...
gotta be a better system than I'm stranded and at the mercy of...
I saw a movie the other night...of an irate girl in a driverless cab...in a congested drop off lane...
she super glued an orange traffic cone to a driverless cab's engine hood...
locked the doors and walked away...
the car blocked traffic behind her as the car didn't know what to do...moving up one inch at a time then stopping...
