First figures feature the 5th Battalion in combat at Peiwar Kotal Afghnistan, where they fought in their green uniforms due to the cold weather. Khaki clad Gurkhas will follow, as well as a piper, officer command group, artillery and an Afghan enemy for the Gurkha's.
As if this was not enough for collectors, we will also be offering lesser well known, but very colourful additions to the war fought on the North East Frontier during the same period. These will feature Indian Sepoys, Frontier Police as well as insurgents.

The war, 2nd Anglo-Afghan War was fought on the North WEST Frontier of British India between 1878 to 1880, now current day Pakistan.

I'd like to know what other figures will be coming, will it be a big range, of just a few?

John

Yes John you are correct the 2nd Afghan war was fought on NW frontier, but we are also covering the NE frontier as well at the same time.
Regards Cathy

Imminent but not going to be ready in time for London unfortunately, its only a sub-section please note. The figures to go inside and outside are being sculpted now, its should make a nice standalone diorama piece that will definitely tell a story of that dramatic night in 1879..
