The New releases are now up in the shop.

This comes with different versions of the wagon load and is the first in a number of planned variants.

Two members of the naval brigade share a drink...
A poignant reminder of Alan at the weekend when I picked up the first two volumes of Eltings's Napoleonic Uniform books from a bookseller at the Warfare wargames show.
Inside each on is a little gold label with "A S Caton" on it...
JB,
Apologies that this has stalled - the moulds look okay but I have not yet found the time to cast up everything and work out what parts go with what to make up the sets...
Fortunately, I now have access to the original painted castings, so I should be able to work out the knight sets for...
We will be on the Imperial Miniatures stand with a couple of new releases, some painted stock and a lot of castings for sale...
Hope people will stop by for a chat...

I have a number of new releases planned - some of which will hopefully be ready for the December show!
First up is a new set:
IM004 - Naval Brigade "A Short Break". This will be available in Khaki and as an army version.
We also have a whole series of GS Wagons planned - here are a couple...
Just a heads up that there is a new forum devoted to wargaming with 54mm figures here:
http://littlewarsrevisited.boards.net/
for those that play with their figures....

The quality will still not be that great and will require a fair amount of cleanup. Looking at the pricing they are going to work out about the same as buying AIP, etc per figure once you include the cost of printing.
I have recently bought a fairly high-end printer (£1300) for printing ABS...
As someone who is just starting out with a small, cottage industry style Toy Soldier business, I am very interested in selling to the USA and have sold of couple of pieces to people in the States.
I have a website and photos, which need expanding, and hope to work with a USA based retailer at...
There have been stories about the greying of the Wargames hobby ever since I started in it in 1974 at the age of 12! It is still attracting new people and I am finding that this year my turnover through my wargaming company Black Hat Miniatures is as healthy as it's ever been.
For Toy Soldier...
I am puzzled by these type of reactions - your figures don't suddenly disappear overnight or magically lose their appeal. Why not switch to collecting something else and keep the K&C collection?
Mike
I am guessing that the way they run their business works for them and it brings in enough sales - they may not be able to cope with many more orders... There are always complaints in the wargames world about NavWar who only accepts orders by post or fax - but the owner is in his 70s, perfectly...
As Martin said, they were their with a big stand. I did overhear Anne saying that she didn't really do computers and relies on her daughter which might explain the delay in replies

I am happy to announce our Long Tom set which was released at the London Toy Soldier SHow is now available and up on our online shop. This is the first major release for Imperial Miniatures which adds to the All the Queen's Men ranges and extends the range of sets we offer.
IM003 Boer...
I personally use Neil Thomas's rules for Napoleonics and use 16 Infantry or 8 Cavalry to a unit for 1/32nd scale games - I am still building forces. I usually have 3-4 command figures and would have a couple of Voltiguers and a couple of Grenadiers in a French unit.
The games I play are fairly...
Looks like things might just be coming together in time for the London TS show:
A quick preview of the Long Tom, Crew and Scenic Base undercoated and ready to paint.
There is a 7th Crew member to go at the back as well....
Mike
Thanks, yes - still planning to pick up the Imperial Germans once I've made some headway with the colonial ranges. I need to make some more space in the workshop for moulds (it is full!) but have finally persuaded my wife to allow me to use another part of the house for paint stocks storage...
