I finally picked up a conte painted figures roman galley. A couple things surprised me. The painted resin galley slaves are detailed with lash marks on their backs. In addition the admiral, wine providing slave plus the tower spotter are metal. The rowers are a nice touch, I know conte planned...

I think extension is kinda of a loose reference for this and the roundtable.. I get the king of England in a Turkish prison while coming back from the crusades. However, if it breathes new life into this genre than I am certainly fine with it. I think there is a market for this childhood...

Ken mentioned at the Toronto show a couple of years ago he had a dozen sculpts for an entry into a late WWII Europe. Not much has been mentioned since.... outside of RAF range and some ww2 addons to existing series

while a lot of the releases had been previously mentioned in advance.. still some surprises especially the engineers plus barbwire and tank traps.... I liked the fact that K&C has re-released some previously difficult items to buy on the secondary market ie tank traps and new engineers plus...
