    The 2013 Indy Show

A nice show. Lots of dealers, not a lot of customers. Plenty of plastic, and lots of folks you don't see in Schaumburg. Hotel is relatively easy to find, however once you get into the place the show is hard to find. Had to ask about three employees to find the room. Nice big room with wide...

And who are they when they are at home?

    Minutemen diorama

I thought I heard that Barzso was going to do Continental troops for this year. You'll just have to wait and see.

    French Indian War by Barzso

Incredible!! Those are the best painted Barzso figures I've seen. A great job.

    New 'HORRIBLE HISTORIES' 60mm figures

Interesting, but real toyish. The mystery bag thing seems to be big with some companies now. Go to TRU and you will see a half dozen different companies doing this. Both Lego and Playmobil are also doing this now. The figures seem very stiff with not a lot of possibilities to do things with...

Calvera has arrived to collect his taxes!

I didn't know Burt Reynolds was in the movie. But, seriously, very very nicely done.

Will Armies in Plastic ever step in WW2 ?

No. There are plenty of companies producing WWII figures now. AIP figures, while nice to a certain degree, are large, and stiff. If they were to make WWII figures, they would clearly be more akin to toys than model figures. I'd pass on them.

AIRFIX SOLDIERS 1/32nd SCALE REISSUES 2013

Nice, but NOT in hard plastic.

    2013

Airfix and Deetail figures seemed to be first cousins. I never knew what the actual connection was, but it was close.

    2013

Very nice. I like those figures also. Not the most animated, but they were still pretty neat.

    2013

I'd like to see CTS do some other WWII figures, such as Russian or Japanese. I know they did a Japanese set originally, so maybe add on to those. As far as Airfix, if they wold redo the new 1/32 figures in a softer plastic than they have now I'd be interested. But not in the hard plastic they...

    2013

Hopefully lots of new things. We've seen this new American Civil War series, TSSD is hinting about Alamo figures, as well as Cowboys, Barzso may be continuing with the new AWI range, CTS has come out with a bunch of WWII sets last year, Paragon also mentions new figures. And hopefully there will...

To bring or not to bring?

Thanks. Geez, I should rethink selling, those are so neat. The Sarum set I have is the Hound of the Baserville set, still in the foam and the box. I suppose I had it out once, but don't recall. The Trophy set I have is "The Game's Afoot." Again, in the foam and in the box. If anyone is...

To bring or not to bring?

I have three or four small sets of beautiful figures, in the box I'm interested in bringing to the show, from the US, if anyone is interested. I have a very nice Trophy Sherlock Holmes set, as well as one which I belive is Sarum (is that the correct name?) Also a few other small sets. These have...

While Apaches may scientifically be classified as Apache, they mostly were desert and mountain people in the South West and into Mexico.
