    Hartenstein Hotel

Thanks for the comments. Just so you know, the ornate railing, cornice details and all the windows are all in resin and if you want to have a go at building then they are all available from me. Details will appear on the web site soon. I will post again when they are. David

    TMterrain break in

The break in today at our unit has not effected any terrain stored there so we will still be able to put on a good show at the end of March. The thieves obviously can't spot a good thing when it is staring them in the face! If they had tried to carry any of the boards off then they could have...

    Rorkes Drift buildings

The two biggest doubts I had were over the windows- what would the frames be like and did they have shutters. We went with a simple window frame in the end as there would be no reason why buildings like this would have anything other than functional accessories and the same reason for the...

    Rorkes Drift buildings

Here are some more pictures. I am hoping my customer will send me pictures of them 'in action'. If he does then they will go up on the web site gallery. At the moment the gallery is a couple of years (!!!!) behind but should get up to date in the next couple of months so there will be loads more...

    Rorkes Drift buildings

Pictures of a recent commission. The two Rorkes Drift buildings. They are on individual bases so I haven't laid them out accurately. The time consuming part of this commission was the stone work- I had to carve it all and then each stone is painted individually!! I think it was worth it though...

    ACW diorama

Thanks for the feedback. I think most collectors would want the figures left untouched as you mentioned so I guess I will just have to enjoy doing this sort of work when it turns up but don't expect it too often!:) David

    ACW diorama

I have just completed this dio for a customer. He asked for the figures to be modeled into the landscape- a first for me. It was a brilliant project to do because I didn't have to worry about leaving flat areas to put figures. I could go to town with long grass and steep gradients...

    TM Terrain pics

Hi Prices for these buildings varied from £120 to £180 I think. They all sold on the day of the show. I could have sold them twice over! I have more ready for the March show. You can see them in the Day day +2 thread. Always happy to make more:D David

    Hello from TMterrain

Hi I guess we have arrived now! As many of you know, we make terrain as well as sell toy soldiers in the UK. This category is very much aimed at the terrain side of things. Hopefully, I will be posting lots of pictures and discuss everything to do with terrain building. It would be great to...

    Terrain ideas for TMTerrain

Hi guys Just a quick comment on the original request- the post was dated 2007. I put it up a few days after our first London show in March that year. I didn't mention you Matt cos First Legion was yet to be born:). I wouldn't dream of not mentioning you now. I am not thinking about the June...
