With Ken Osen’s departure from W.Britain, it’s only natural for some to wonder about the future of the company. Rest assured it’s on solid footing, building on the foundations that Ken helped establish over the many the years he worked with W.Britain as a contract sculptor, owner, and, most...

    An update from Ken Osen

Ericka and I just returned to the office after spending ten days in Italy. In addition to some spectacular sites in Rome we went to some great WWII locations, including two visits to Monte Cassino Abbey and an interesting private World War II museum. On the third day we hiked up to the ridge of...

    A small 18th to 20th century barn

Hi Wayne, at the moment they are all sold with the one set of farm tools as it has the block and tackle for the hayloft included in that set. We also reduced the price of that set to include it with the barn, so if we ever offer the barn without it will priced about the same…so this is a good offer.

    To the Bitter End…

I really like the way you combine various manufacturers in your photos. There are more late war figures in production for delivery later this year that I hope you will find useful!

    To the Bitter End…

Thank you…it is a pretty dark time, but is still fascinating. There are a number of new newsreels from the period that have been included with some of the videos available on YouTube… I watched one the other night that inspired me to set these up.

    To the Bitter End…

To the Bitter End… In the final months of the World War Two ad-hoc German units were formed for the defense of Germany as the Red Army rolled West. These included Army, Luftwaffe and Waffen-SS divisions made of technicians no longer needed, support staff and conscripts of old men and boys. Many...

    Redcoats Displays

I really enjoyed sculpting these and the bulk of what I have displayed at home are the Redcoats…with about 25 “Hat Men” too. I always hoped to offer more but the plug was pretty much pulled when First Gear still owned the brand, so the few new ones have only been offered as Collectors Club...
