Imperial listings (among others) on ebay

Hey guys, One thing I always have time for is keeping track of Imperial Production figures on ebay and the prices sold. Anyway, this seller has a lot of the harder to find ACW sets from Imperial up for auction right now. http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/kenkendawg Good luck, D

    Photo Catalog - Imperial Productions

Sorry for the delays guys. Work heated up a bit more than I wanted this month and I have simply been too lazy to do much online at the end of my day. I will be better. D

That was a very interesting link to those auctions. Thanks. Man! Those folks at Britains sure made a few different sets, didn't they? To answer questions about the new storage set up. I now have a dedicated server to hold all my data. It consists of serialized hard drives which duplicate...

    Photo Catalog - Imperial Productions

Hey guys, I am back after an amazingly traumatic computer meltdown. Fortunately, I have a very competent pal who was able to save every single one of my Imperial shots (which number well over 10,000!) from my farked hard drive. So.... I will get back on the stick and download some more this...

    Favourite Imperial Piece

Good thread topic, Nathan. I am going to have to do some long thinking and, perhaps a general review of the troops before finally deciding. That said, I have always liked the R.E. Lee figured from the Americana Series for exactly the reasons that Nathan identifies. Just a few brush strokes...

How does one purchase imperials--at this point?

For what it's worth, the London Bridge stock has dwindled to a few sets of Town and Around. Last I spoke to Ron, they had no military sets in stock. Basically, if you call London Bridge, they will just be placing an order for you with Imperial. Good luck, D

How does one purchase imperials--at this point?

Imperial is still producing most if not all of their Napoleonic range, for the time being at least. Try emailing them at imperial.productions@xtra.co.nz But be patient. Their computer is in an entirely different location than they are and it takes sometimes several days or a week before they...

You're right about the Marines set. I will post a few more pics of that one. Not sure why it came out so small compared with the others. D

Another few pics galleried. The mysterious Officers and Men series... in all its glory. http://www.treefrogtreasures.com/forum/album.php?albumid=243 (I promise I will start with the Naps soon!) D

    Gordon Heirloom series

Dan, neither of the HS1 sets have the green band. What I pictured above is a mixture of comparisons between both HS1 and HS2 sets from each version. The only figures in my pictures that have green helmet bands are from the HS2 versions of each set. Both of my HS1 sets have white bands. D

    Cameron Heirloom Series tidbit

Close, but I note you did the math for Gordon Highlanders as opposed to the original Camerons. Those numbers above are for the Cameron version. The Gordon version may well have been limited to a dozen sets, six of each HS1 and HS2. I wish he'd numbered those as well. And yes, at least one of...

    Cameron Heirloom Series tidbit

Speaking with David Cowe last night, he mentioned that one of the few records that he still had regarding production numbers concerned the number of Cameron Heirloom series sets produced. The reason he kept track of this is that each set (HS1 & HS2) were numbered on a label attached to the...

    Gordon Heirloom series

Hey Nathan, I really appreciate your pics of the shop and your collection. Are you the guy from Australia that David was telling me about? Here is an example of my best effort to date with a group HS shot. As you can see, it is far from satisfying. I like my pics to be more detailed but...

    Gordon Heirloom series

The real trick is getting the whole parade within the field of focus such that each figure is distinct and clear. So far, I have taken dozens of group shots of my Cameron sets and I am only barely satisfied with my results. I have a new (used) Canon XT on its way and I will get some nice wide...

Alas, they are not. According to a conversation that I had with Mr. Cowe recently, the molds for those sets are all pretty much shot. That said, they pop up on ebay all the time. Good luck, D

I love the latter Union Cavalry sets also. They are his best from that range. The Texas Brigade is very nice, but I generally tend to avoid and abhor all things that involve the word "Texas". :D:rolleyes:

And the Zulu album is open. http://www.treefrogtreasures.com/forum/album.php?albumid=210 I will get around to completing the titles in the descriptions tomorrow. Wound up with some extra time this evening, but now that is at an end. Cheers, D
