Andrea has a depot in the USA: https://www.andreadepotusa.com/ I ordered a few retired Figure International Magazines from them. Got them but they are pretty slow on the customer support side of things...
I think it depends of the item. If the item is very rare and sought-after then some people may either jump on the best offer option or buy it now one if they think a higher price is right for them (I did that a few times) or hold back and take a bet that they could win this one at a lower...
FYI there is a bunch of FL Gordon Highlanders for sale on Ebay France: https://www.ebay.fr/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xgordon+first+legion.TRS0&_nkw=gordon+first+legion&_sacat=0
The problem with this approach is basically you don't attract buyers who are missing only one of the pieces which limits your buying audience. Grouping is good for new collectors who start from scratch but normally rare pieces are likely to be bought by collectors who missed the mark on a...
Maybe yours or mine is a good Russian replica of the Pegaso sculpt :wink2: Mine comes from Russia too. I double-checked again and mine is exactly the same size as the FL figures I have. Anyway the most important thing is I like mine and you like yours :smile2:!
This is indeed a nice one (mine below). The sculpt is from Pegaso Models: Hussar Officer, Russian Imperial Guard 1802, PEG-54167 (54mm). It's actually the same size as the FL ones (see one next to it, also Russian btw).
Thanks so much Mirof! Your awesome site is a great resource for me since I paint figures mostly from companies that disappeared years ago. To that end your catalogue repertoire comes very handy! Keep up the great work!
Please see below for my latest production: Officer of the Chasseur of the Imperial Guard - 90mm, Ref 90/021 from White Models in Italy. The sculpt is from Stefano Borin. Pics before and after as usual!
Forgot to mention also that I was able to get the Bavarian flag bearer NAP0012 on Ebay France 4 months ago (sorry Zach :rolleyes2:)...Yes, that's the guy in the corner below. So yes, with patience, miracles do happen!:smile2:
I personally think they are still among the best. I have all the 90mm NAP PM ones (in the process of painting all of them) and the level of details, uniform accuracy and posture of the PM figures is excellent IMHO. Very few manufacturers produced 90mm now (75mm and 54mm are more popular) so to...
The quest is over! I just snatched on Ebay the Soumsky Officer NAP0128 I have been looking for a few years now. The price was also relatively reasonable...I have now the full set of FL Russian Soumsky and Akhtyrsky hussars. Patience is everything :)
If you are sill looking for the Soumsky...
I would personally disagree. I had checked this figure before making that statement below: all the flag details are molded or embossed on that flag making them fairly easy to paint
(depending on your painting skills of course :wink2:). They are not decals like on other flags. Anyway this is...
As I indicated it's also available on the FL website as a kit for $29.95 so you can commission its painting for a fraction of the $400 if you really need to have it (I have already one). Looking at it this is not a complex figure to paint...
