The colors look about the same as on the FL KT. I love the metal tracks and the level of detail is excellent for the price.

The overall length and width shown on the drawing are 1/30 scale.

    Eagle Design Kingtiger Available!

The Eagle Design Kingtiger with the production turret and 3 color camouflage is on the Y-Weido site on Ebay for $210.00 with free shipping. The top turret and hull hatches open. Errors in the prototype seem to have been corrected in this version. The tracks are metal and the wheels, idler and...

    Post London Show Report

Excellent accurate figure detail. Often the details or colors are wrong. One manufacturer had the Lions in the wrong direction and the blues too light. The Hundred Years War is always a winner IMO.

New SS Tank Rider Coming Soon!

A King Tiger, Porsche Turret, Zimmerit and 3 color Tiger Stripe camouflage would be ideal for Normandy SS formations and also appropriate for Arnhem. The only Porsche Turret King Tiger with Zimmerit made to date was the TCS model in 1/28 scale. Way overdue for a new state of the art example IMO...

BB001 Battle of the Bulge Winter Sherman M4 Tank!

I hope FL does an M4A3E8 as it would be more appropriate for December 1944. The 76mm gun was far more effective and at longer range than the 75mm.

    Eagle Design's new 88

1/28 scale Wayne. Works with TCS, K&C and TG. The ED 88 is probably 1/29 same as their armor; which will work reasonably well with both 1/30(60mm) and 1/28 (65mm) scale figures, given the range of human height.

    Medieval Knights

Historically the Romans fought each other as much as they fought Barbarians. Oppose Legion with Legion for a great diorama. The same goes for the Spartans who fought and were defeated by the Thebians; who used the same Armor and Weapons.

    Country Honor Figures

Click on my screen name and look at my posts. One post features the Country Honor Scorpion mounted on the deck of a Roman River Patrol Boat. The River Boat post is from 3-31-2018 on page 14. A Roman Besieged Fortification post from 5-22-2018 is on page 12.

    Country Honor Figures

I order Country Honor figures from Y-Weido on Ebay. Shipping is free and reliable. The Roman Scorpion and Legion figures are excellent IMO. I have posted photos of them on my Roman Siege dioramas.

    Tiger I

TCS caught a lot of flack with their first Winter Tiger I, because the tricolor camouflage showed through the white wash too much! Brian even repainted some customers Tigers for them, as I recall. The later larger Winter Tiger I had the thicker white wash. The first version was technically...

    Tiger I

The winter scene is very realistic. Excellent photography. The TCS first series of Tiger Is was their best IMO. The scale was 1/29 and it worked well with both 60 mm and 65mm figures. The second series were larger and only worked with TCS, TG and K&C figures.

New Releases for February 2019 - The Second World War

Louis I concur with your evaluation of the JJD Stug III; it clearly sets a new and higher standard for 1/30 scale armor as was the case with the JJD Jagdpanther. The operating features and details far exceed the competition IMO.

    Moe's JJD Model Collection

JJD and WB figures are the same size. Typically 60 to 62mm tall. Kronprinze and Figarti figures are also about the same size range. I mix all of them in dioramas. FL figures are smaller, about 58mm. K&C, TCS and TG range from 64 to 66mm typically.

ED Winter Stug with FL Winter Tank Riders

WB Fallschirmjager would work well too. Kronprinze figures are also a possibility with ED Panzers. The K&C Panzer Kommander figures are very good with Figarti Panzers as they are about 60mm.

ED Winter Stug with FL Winter Tank Riders

JJD and TG Panzers are 1/30 scale. ED Panzers are 1/29 scale and a good compromise to work with both 60 and 65 mm figures IMO.

ROM115 "The Spoils of War" Pre-Order!

I use Exin castle gates with my Roman Fortification dioramas. Schleich, Elastolin and Exin gates are available on Ebay. A Schleich gate was posted on the FL thread in use with the FL wall sections. The Schleich gate is the largest of the three noted and measures 8 inches wide by 11 inches tall.

ROM115 "The Spoils of War" Pre-Order!

A Triumphal Arch would be more appropriate for the period. The Emperor could be riding on the excellent FL War Elephant.

Yeah last night they got real close

Nice diorama and great photo. TCS is doing a great job with these figures. I await the TCS Sheridan so I can do a diorama of 2 NVA Regiments pinned to trees by Beehive round fleshettes!

All 4 TGM (NMA) Tigers together for the first time !

TG has done superb armor in the recent past. The TG Hetzer set a standard for excellence in detail and camouflage yet to be excelled IMO. A Kingtiger without design flaws and at an affordable price point would have a ready market. A Porsche Turret Kingtiger with Zimmerit in 1/30 scale has not as...
