Ken, You are right about the plastic Conte Saxons very hard to get....I have tried for a few years now!
There was one box on Ebay last year but I pulled out of the bidding as it went all the way up to $190.
I like them a lot, Nice sculpting and easy to paint..plus a HUGE catalogue of castings in various eras!
Plenty of good plastic sets also and they just keep adding more sets each year.
I think Bond can be a generational thing....I grew up watching the Roger Moore films in the 70s/80s so Roger was Bond to me.
But then I always did love Connery's Goldfinger....I think they just nailed it with that film, the opening singing voice of shirly bassy belting out the theme song...and...
Good point that car may have taken things a little far....But then Moonraker was like Star Wars in some parts...with Astronauts flying around in space shooting laser guns.....Much like the Thunderball under water battle!
But that poor diorama {eek3}
I got the Bond 50 Blue Ray box set for Xmas ^&grin...{23 films} So been watching one just about every night {in order}.
Currently half way through the Brosnan era!.....its been a real hoot as most of the films I had seen in the past but has just been so long
in some cases 20+ years!...so many...
Who ever the Russian guy is that does the work for Zvezda most of those 1/72 sets are just mind boggling!

Just watched this, good to se the big guy again and a big improvement over that horrible 1998 version!
PS, spotted some TSSD WW2 figures at the start of film but you have to look quick.
Just a bit of fun Mike :smile2:......had you thinking on that one!
Alphabetical order did not cross my mind..Obvious now :redface2:........Maybe some of the harder working makers should be moved up?
