ACW sets still my favourite of any Brand {along with WBritains}.....Playing catch up as I should have grabbed them years ago. But sadly some sets are way to Pricey now or just to hard to find..other stuff that Conte did was very cool did like Tavington vs Martin Dual, Also liked the Spartacus sets!

I'm not sure if they went under but rather the owner just moved on to more important life issues....He must have only done a very small run of the plastic. As you don't se them around for sale any were?

Hat and CTS have already done what you could call the ultimate Punic War collection...TSSD could never match that alone! They would be wise to just stay with Imperial Romans & Barbs. Maybe they could add a set of Roman Arches {No Segmented Armour} and Artillery....Some more Germans I guess! Not...

Some nice figs there Scott......And those 30 year old paint jobs stack up rather well against the modern day factory paintjobs. In fact at first glance they look like Conte/Britains.

Scott you make a good point why Mexican Cav?........The CTS ones are plenty good enough. I suppose they are just trying to get more mileage out of those pony's.

Ok so I missed the 1st episode but really enjoyed the second and will have to watch the final act next week! I don't mind that its in German with English subtitles sounds more authentic.

Darn that trailer looked good!....totally missed it now I guess..SBS is one of those channels I never check out. Will have a look the next time I walk into a JB Hi-Fi.....like to check out there DVD tv series section.

The Bow looks undersized?....but not complaining they are a nice choice of poses and I like the shields. And will have to pick up a set of these this year!

I got re-bitten by the 54mm Napoleonic bug so thought I might paint a few up...Nice easy ones.

Have to hand it to you Fish a lot of work has gone into all that!.....both the conversion work and the very detailed painting. Be great if there was a good set of French Fusiliers on the market in 54mm and in plastic....I really think hat should have made these a few years back when they started...

They might be worth a look when these come out, have no interest in Mexican Cavalry but might work as French line Lancers. Are they just going to use there existing western Horses?.....or make new ones with different horse furniture??
