    Matt, Jenkins had the DH.2 in the works for several years. I don't think that he could get the model where he wanted it at the original price-point of his model planes, $180-$230. When the model was finally released, it was priced at the absolute limit of many collector's sensibilities...

    That's true of resin vs wooden subjects in general. I'd also note that surface detail and parts definition translates far better with resins than wood. Still, mahogany has it's charms, character if you will, and collectors keep buying. Put another way, I don't view the turrets solely as scale...

    Admittedly not the best image that I've ever produced, but it's sorta fun, at least, so I thought that I'd share it: This is another example of perspective being forced on a subject. In this case, the model appears set back against a foreground of poppies. -Moe

    Very insightful. And one of the tigers apparently had two claws, and another four. And why would two sets consist of only light-shaded scratches, while the other two are BOTH LIGHT AND DARK??? I SERIOUSLY suspect that this sort of thing is why some TS-Makers don't want to get involved in WW2...
