    Jenkins Model Pic

Hi Al, Jenkins mentioned that he had "retooled" two of his KotS models in the company's news update this week. As I count them, there are only four of the old-tool versions left, and one of them, the Fokker triplane, has apparently taken the form of a Werner Voss Dr.1. That leaves us with three...

This is Jenkins' Mannock S.E.5a: I haven't taken pics of this model in at least six years, the curio having swallowed the set and so fiercely hung on. ;) -Moe

    Jenkins Model Pic

Thank you, Wayne.:) I'm really hoping that Jenkins will "retool" its Sopwith Camel. To be honest, it doesn't measure up well against more recent efforts, the maker's Sopwith Triplane, for instance. -Moe

    Somehere in France -May 1940

Guy, Your dioramas are always marvelous:salute:: France 1940 is such an interesting military campaign. Like the early ACW battles, it's a shame that it went the wrong way. So many lives could have been spared. -Moe

This is Jenkins' Roy Brown Camel: I find JJD Camels difficult to image effectively. Seems like no matter what I do, they tend to come out looking like a toy:redface2: -Moe

    die Luftschlacht um England

Thanks Matt, Here are Wayne's and Louis' model pics on a different background: About the only limit on the background is what you can locate and frame up using Google maps. Quite a tool there. -Moe

    die Luftschlacht um England

Got 'em, Louis! For our other readers... Basically, what I was suggesting to Wayne was creating a pic made up of three layers. One layer would be an aerial view of the Thames River in London, a second of his model '109, and, thanks to Alec, a third of a He111. To make the three pics mesh...

    die Luftschlacht um England

Louis, a request... Could you ask Alec to shoot the model against a white background, a sheet perhaps, towel, or poster-board? It'll make it easier to make the bomber layer transparent.
