During the invasion of Russia by Napoleon, the Russian Cossacks were the troops the French feared the most. Not a heavy battlefield cavalry, but rather used as a light cavalry, the Russian Cossacks constantly harassed the French forces during their advance .....:mad:^&grin Guy :salute::

Hi Tom, OK have been here in this park several times this place is a great source of inspiration, unfortunately no historical representation of the Napoleonic wars is represented; Normal for this Vendée region remained loyal to the King of France when the revolution happened .... best.
