Three other sailors were evacuated for their injuries. Among their number is the destroyer's commanding officer, Cmdr. Bryce Benson, who was transferred to the hospital in Yokosuka "and is reportedly in stable condition."

I'm trying to wrap my head around how a US destroyer can run into a cargo ship. I haven't seen any reporting on what exactly happened. These weren't two small tugboats colliding!! Prayers go out to the families of those killed in the accident...as well as those recovering from their injuries.

I received this request and thought I would pass it along: I have acquired several hundred lead soldiers manufactured under the name of Minimen by Jack B Updyke. These soldiers are mostly of the Guards' regiments with a quantity of cavalry. I am unable to obtain any information on this...

Thankfully the NCAA released a statement saying it should have been a goal tending. Whew! I feel a lot better now. Heck of a comeback! Hate to see a play like that turn things around. We may not have won anyway...but it would have kept the pressure on them!
