Hi
Yes that is the line infantry , I think i have more than a bit of work to do to even get close to a display like yours.
But fingers crossed I hope to add a decent number of Gordons before they sell out as I was late to the game
on the foot guards, so didnt realy manage to build any real...
The Gordons are my main focus this year along with cavalry to oppose.
I aim is to build 2 sides of a square , I,d love to build a full square
but space and budget will probably stop that goal depending on how
long they remain in First Legions catalogue.
I realy like the civilian figures , but being a toy soldier collector
I would have to go with military an Imperial Delhi Durbar line
would have been fantastic imo.
But At this point , I would prefer to see a few of there existing releases
expanded on to make bigger displays of certain units...
LOL :smile2: you could be onto something I can just see it now, First legions latest Nap release willy wonka and his oompa lumpa cavalry. Followed closely by other mfgs similar lines [success will be judged by the first company to go bust].
I agree there are some diverse collections I have seen posted here that are amazing , space is the real premium for me [I,ve got a few other eras covered via
my imperial ]. If I add any more more display space my wife will start using the
scatter gun {eek3}[I could just see her melting down...
yeah its always tougher when they hit your collecting soft spot ,
I have found my collecting a lot easier by staying focused as
opposed to my previous scatter gun aproach :) .
It great to see all the new stuff being released , The Romans look pretty
tempting but I am going to stick to Naps for now as they still have more
pull for me than any of the other lines.
I guess that is more than Fair enough , plus it gives you the bonus
[although a bit of work involved ] of rediscovering sets when they get there
time on display.
Your shots are a great advert for little legion , my credit card finger
is itching.
Cheers Rob
