    Cameron Heirloom Series tidbit

My HS 1 Gordons had two extra stickers at the bottom. One is the cover sticker and the other is a basic Imperial label. The box also had the certificate from Imperial saying the Gordons were specially produced for the Toy Soldier Gallery in New York.

    Gordon Heirloom series

Drum, Yet another difference (although mine might suffer from a quick production in NZ), but none of the figures in my HS 1 Gordons have the green band around the helmet. I noticed that when I first opened the set, but wasn't sure if that was intentional. It looks like some of your HS1...

Heirloom Series 1, Gordon Highlanders (special set)

This set, along with HS 2, Gordon Highlanders, is one of the rarest of all Imperial sets. I didn't think I'd ever land one and then 2 showed up on Ebay in a matter of months in the fall of 2008. Drum won both of them on Ebay and then gave me the chance to pick up the second one he landed (which wa

Special thanks to Drum for bidding on this set and then giving me the opportunity to buy it. There are just a handful of these around and I didn't think I'd ever land one. I took some shots of HS Gordons 1 today. Sorry for the poor quality of the pictures on the individual figures. We will...

    Imperial Productions picture thread

Rob, thanks for posting. I have never seen any of those sets in person or until now ever looked at a great color photo of them. That is what is so fun about this and why I hope we do a comprehensive catalog at some point. I haven't collected in any of those lines (Civil War, Zulu, New...

    Show us your Bengals!

Drum, that sounds like a reasonable theory. I picked up my now "special" 51A from Counterpane in Falls Church, Virginia on May 13, 1995 (yes, I keep all my receipts/records). I picked it up at the same time that I got my first set of 50A. Both were mint in the box. As some of you know, I...

I thought I'd post a few more shots. See below. Also, per Cardigan600's suggestion and some emails from other folks, I created some folders with pictures of these and other Imperial sets under my user profile. It is all public so feel free to check it out. Best, DK
