I also collect original photogravures by Edward S. Curtis. Again, my collection centers on tribes of the Great Plains. Most of these sepia photogravures were printed between 1908-1926 and were part of Curtis' 20-set (volume and folio) masterpiece "The North American Indian."
One of my other collecting interests is original aquatint/hand-colored prints by Karl Bodmer that were done for the atlas "Travels In The Interior of North America." The prints were made in the early 1840's. In particular, I collect prints dealing with Bodmer's travels in the Great Plains. Indeed
