i see these sometimes at old toy shows..but not toy soldier shows. i bought some vikings like this. There was a guy remaking all of this era stuff witha 3 d printer. there were also some canadian soldiers. at one point. Must have been a local venture back when i was a user not a collector...

I have some of these...oddly I have two endcaps the same instead of the back piece. anyway= I bought the desert fort (happy), some of all of them...and am happy with them all. I have the long house too... probably going to get the Rourkes Drift hospital.

And I wanted to add... The aquarium and fish/pet stores, sell great japanese themed " diorama" items that go well with samurais in my opinion...also means good stuff shows uo at thrift stores as well. Bridges temples etc

Very Fun set, I really enjoy the minor assembly part. I have the 7 samurai sets including the producer and camera man....I also have the set as issued in "black and white". What a novel idea! my fav Samurai in my own collection is a draw between FL Archer in red, and the Andrea finished...

Mr Joplin, Thank you for a concise explanation...I wonder if many , like myself always thought Premier/Biggs/ and Britains were always one and the same...interestingly enough the outer boxes are the same, but the foam packaging inside is different styles... Very interesting story to these sets...
