Got my first batch of the Union ACW figures, although the fancy dress uniform isn't what they probably wore into batttle, they are still fantastic pieces. You def. need to check them out.
Thanks guys!
I'm going to use my K&C ACW figures for this dio. The silflor product looks like a winner to me, so I may order one of their mats to start with!
Thx again!
So I'm getting my list together of the things I want to buy for my first diorama, and I'm looking for a mixture of grass and woodland terrain. I've found a couple bags of the woodland terrain on the Build-A-Rama sight. Anyone have any clues where I can get a bag of the grass terrain? Or am I...

I've been thinking about paying the $48 for membership, but was just curious as to if it was was worth it?

I know what you mean, I've had to learn to pace myself and wait for the dispatches at the beginning of the month.
I've mainly started on the Civil War guys, but have a couple WWII vehicles so far (Panzer IV and Elephant).
As soon as I get my first diorama set up, I'll post on the forum.
Sgt. I'm new to collecting also. I started on the ACW line first and have pretty much gathered up most of the Confederates.
Just in the past couple of months I've started on the Union figures.
It's really hard to beat the quality of K&C, especially ACW line compared to some of the others...
It's not just the patches on the Confederates that you'll run into problems with, the multi-colored sleeping bags that some of them have won't look good in multiples on a firing line.
I also have only purchased one of each until there are future releases.
On the other hand, I love the line...
