CTS Korea War Chinese 54MM Figures

A lot of the CTS WW2 stuff that I have bought in the last few years was closer to the Conte/TSSD sized figures. Maybe a tad smaller, but still "beefier" than a Marx figure.

CTS Korea War Chinese 54MM Figures

That's an interesting set! The ChiComs are in cool weather uniforms. Could this mean that a Korean Conflict set of GIs might be coming? Most GIs from many sources are in the M1941 uniforms or HBT fatigues. Some of the CTS GIs are in M1943 jackets, which are appropriate uniforms for Korea...

    "Movie Military"

First, nice video! Very well done. Second, kudos on the new Sherman. You did a good job on that M4A3E4 (loaned to the film by the Yugoslavian Army). All the right features are there for Oddball's tank. The finish and stowage look good also. Lastly, cool figure of Karl Otto Alberty. That...

    Expeditionary Force WW2 sets???

Nice animated poses! If these are even close to the "right" size they will be a lot of fun to convert and have fun with. I kind of like the idea of the Free French troops, one of the unsung armies in the ETO. Generally, they wore US uniforms and usually carried US weapons, so it wouldn't be...

quality of Marx recast Marines & GIs?

I have a hankering to do a few conversions in the near future. Who does the best re-cast Marx Marines and GI's? I'm thinking of the 54mm versions from "Battleground Playset" etc. I had bought some years ago from Glencoe and they were poorly molded - full of sink holes and flash. I know that...

Glencoe 1/32nd figures coming soon for uk customers

I hope that Glencoe puts more effort into quality control! Years ago I bought a Glencoe recast set of Marx Marines and they were full of casting errors/flaws. Gary B.

    Expeditionary Force WW2 sets???

I remember seeing some preview shots of a couple GIs also. The initial report (don't know about how accurate) was that they would be sized to Conte/TSSD. I'm rather hopeful, not only more figures but more new parts into the conversion gristmill. I'm hopeful! The initial report mentions...

    Expeditionary Force WW2 sets???

X-Force showed that they were working on some US and German WW2 items "for late 2014". Has anyone heard/read any more about this project? Any news at all? Gary B.

    FURY out on DVD...

Went to my local Sam's Club and grabbed my Blu-Ray of FURY last evening. Had a great evening watching the deleted/extended scenes. Some of them provide a lot more depth on the characters. Neat little featuretttes too. Apparently Michael Pena became quite proficient in driving the Sherman...

6 inch MARX SOVIETS in 1:32

Many times I wish that Marx or "someone" would pantograph down the 6-inch US soldiers/Marines to the 54-60mm size.. There were several nice poses that would have complemented the original 1/32nd GIs/Marines. Gary B
