I am currently reading two new books:
Masters of Empire by Michael A. McDonnell-2015 is the history of the French/Indian wars focusing on how the tribes in the old northwest held back the Iroquois which were at war with the Algonquians and western tribes. Interesting book on the trades...
I had a young family and was going to work on the afternoon shift at General Foods when I heard it on the car radio. What a shock. I liked JFK and saw him at the Sherman Hotel getting off the elevator on his campaign tour. Nice looking man. John
Thanks for the excellent photos and figures of the wwl French. I see some neat poses of the figures and armor(they are all great) . You have a very nice collection of the planes and figures. I enjoyed viewing them with morning coffee. John
Larry, I enjoyed your story of your presentation and some history. I collected the Marx tin guys and the General and nurse are rare. Brings back memories. John
I love that show and makes me wonder what a wimp I am. Also new Deadliest Catch starts tonight.Maybe Rich will take a mountain lion down with his piece of a stick or Eustus building a power plant out of batteries and wire. J
Thank you Luiz for the nice photos of garrison duty. The figures and scenery is amazing. I am reading the book "Queen Victorias Little Wars", which fits your photos. What are the companies that make the glossy figures from this period? I have some K&C, Frontline and Britain's in my collection...
