Hawkeye, unfortunatelly the 78th Seaforth Highlanders (78th Regiment of Foot) did not wear light blue tunics during the Indian Mutiny (1857–1858). Their uniform at the time would have followed standard British Army Highland dress of the mid-19th century: Scarlet (red) tunics, typical of British...

Congratulations, Louis — a good item at a good price. However, I was just wondering why it was considered "special." I've seen quite a few of them over the years, and they always came in a regular Trophy box with a standard set number. As you know, the truly special issues usually came in boxes...

Indian Lancers in the Boxer Rebellion (1900): ✅ Confirmed Participation: Indian cavalry units were part of the British China Relief Expedition, which was one of the eight-nation forces sent to suppress the Boxer uprising and relieve the siege of foreign legations in Beijing. Among them, the...

Thank you, Hawkeye. I thought I knew Regal Products pretty well—but obviously not as well as I thought! That’s a fantastic piece… and now my want list just got longer. 😄

The Kansu Braves showed up to the Boxer Rebellion armed with swords, spears, and sheer determination... The British showed up with Maxim guns and tea. Guess who ran out of supplies first? (Hint: it wasn’t the ammo.)

What were these poor souls thinking, charging in with swords and spears against Maxim guns and rifles? Brave for sure… but not exactly a winning strategy!

This girl from the TD9 Peking Barricade set apparently ran off with a British sailor — and judging by the look on her face, she’s not regretting it one bit!

Nice! This is EQ44 – Royal Welsh Fusiliers with Maxim machine gun, definitely for the Boxer Rebellion range. They also made this regiment with a Gatling gun.

Great, scarce set. I really don’t think the base color makes much difference in this case—they both represent later sets with scenic bases and improved sculpting. The base color could vary depending on the batch and whatever paint was used that day. I’ve seen the same situation with other Trophy...

Thank you. BS33 Chinese Imperial Infantry came with different flag colors—red, white, and blue. I believe the white flag was mostly included with the Dragon Crest issue, though I could be wrong.

Excellent! If you have the later version of the Chinese Imperial Infantry, please post some photos. The Boxer Rebellion is an excellent range, but I always felt Len could have added a few more cool sets that he never got around to.
