Thanks Louis, I really appreciate your response, I managed to free up some bays in our racks in the Studio, my wife wanted to tidy up over Easter, so now I have the space to display some of my figures. I plan on rotating the figures in from the Toy Soldier Room and have them on display for...

    Bored Tonight...Post a Diorama, LOL

I have built another diorama base to display my figures, this time it is using Miniart buildings and I'm showing some more MHSP Napoleonic that I painted. You may also see a few Speira 3D figures there too. I have now setup some strip lights and playing around with background prints. John

Brendan, Not sure about book, but on a 7YW website there is quite a detailed page on this battle. https://www.kronoskaf.com/syw/index.php?title=1760-01-22_-_Battle_of_Wandewash At the bottom there are references to couple of publications. It will be interesting if John will be bringing out...

    Help to identify manufacturer.

For your interest MHSP make some more wagons and horsedrawn equipment that few others make. Many of these are still available, but they need finding, usually on EBay but from European sellers. As they are unpainted, the castings will need a 'lick of paint', I have done with all these ...

    Help to identify manufacturer.

It looks to me like a gun team produced by French maker MHSP (Miniatures Historiques de Soldats de Plomb ) they came as castings and are from the 1970's. The range was released in the 200's with recasts made in China and sold by ATLAS. Here are a couple of pics on sets I have painted, showing...

50th Anniversary of the End of the Vietnam War

Yes, I saw lots of images on TV news last night of the parade in Vietnam. They had a lot to cheer about. I remember seeing the tragic scenes on TV of the last helicopter leaving with the locals all trying to get on ..... The Aussie had withdrawn 3 years earlier thanks to a change in our...

    This is Brilliant.

Hey Wayne, what about the Kangaroo??? Lines of the Australian 9th and 10th Battalions at Mena Camp, looking towards the Pyramids. The soldier in the foreground is playing with a kangaroo, the regimental mascot. Many Australian units brought kangaroos and other Australian animals with them...

    Thier Name Liveth Forevermore.

I had my 'morning stroll' down 'The Terrace' here in Perth, along with hundreds more marchers who were cheered all the way. It was, a most fitting commemoration to our fallen and serving servicemen and women. Lest We Forget, John
