    TSSD's new Alamo chapel

Just got my new TSSD Alamo chapel. Boy, is it ever fun to finally have a chapel!!! What I really like abt this baby is the modularization. I can set up the side pieces as separate bldgs and/or the gun ramp as a separate piece or I can combine all of them into a chapel, depending on the battle...

    Update on Ron Barzso

I wanted to let everybody know that Ron is in hospital again, but expecting to be back home as early as Wednesday. As I think everybody is aware, Ron had been treated surgically recently for heart arrythmia. As an expected part of intervention, he may face periods of arrythmia post surgically...

    OTSN Report

The Conte web site currently suggests that OTSN may be declining as a show. My own experience with OTSN conveyed a very different picture. I’ve attended OTSN for the last 12-13 years (perhaps longer) with only one missed year in all that time, so I have some experience with the show and a sense...

What's the deal with the playsets at OTSN?

Saw Ron Barzso new Tripoli set at the show. You can buy a playset, consisting of two beautifully painted bldgs, two (again) beautifully painted stone shore batteries, tons of accessories, and well, well done Barbary pirates with pointy shoes and Marines. You could also purchase separate fort...

    Tarawa Playset Tssd!

The TSSD marine and Japanese figures are going to be fantastic, so far as I can tell. I've seen the marines and had a chance to look at pics of the Japs, which seem particularly well done. Nice thing about the marines is that they can be supplemented with BMC marines and TSSD's G.I.'s - they're...

How about some new posts in Plastics?

Firstly, I've got to ask - does anybody have any new info abt Britains PLASTIC ACW??!!!??! Holy cow. That's a major annpuncement. Has anybody talked to Richard Walker abt these figs? Will Britains be doing other plastic ranges, i.e., WWII Brits in plastic that are knock offs of their fine metal...

    seek injection plastic manufacturer

Fubar, there's always room for more good plastic figs, especially if they're well done, as I know yours would be. I can only imagine what the masters must look like. Hey, I'd buy your figs! Dick

    TSSD Set #5

O.K., so you’ve read about the new Ruskies. Like me, you thought that was it, right? NOBODY was expecting anything else on dat train. Well, folks, we’ve been ambushed. TSSD AND Barzso Toys worked together in secrecy to produce an entire playset to accompany TSSD’s new figures. STALINGRAD...

    Conte Landing Craft

Guys, as an alternative to Conte, which I believe is $145-165 for the LCM, try the Trumpeter 1/35th scale LCM model kit. The tank bay in the Trumpeter kit is close to 1/32nd and will easily accomodate a 1/32nd scale Sherman from 21st Century or FOV. The kit looks great once assembled, can easily...
