    Fury

Very nice rendering of an iconic Sherman. like the late war camo pattern. not really interested in film tanks, but this is nice in it"s own right!!. 1 major criticism WHY Ö" WHY does almost every tank released by KC have the tank commander holding/looking through a pair of BINOCULARS...

    Thomas Gunn Hetzer

Thanks Steve, you sold me! I found a set on ebay so I grabbed it. It's coming from Germany so I'm guessing a couple of weeks before I get it. I have 2 TG Hetzers (summer and winter versions) so it will be a dilemma on which Hetzer to mount the MG42. I'll probably have to toss a coin on that one...

    Thomas Gunn Hetzer

Thanks Steve, I checked out the Preiser site and I see the weapons set you are referring to. The weapons are pretty detailed and it would be interesting to see how they match up to 1:30 scale. Tom Hi Tom As i said it"s a nice little set from Preiser, I have measured up the weapons with...

    Thomas Gunn Hetzer

QUOTE=TomNT;710037]Nice little dio and yeah, the TG Hetzer is a nice piece. I have this one also but my only criticism of this vehicle is the turret mounted machine gun. It's undersized and definitely not 1:30 scale. The machine gun mounted on the K&C Hetzer is more accurate to scale and...

Wars of the Roses – picked up my first order today!

OH MY GOSH..!!!! What a feest for the eyes. being a dyed in the wool WWII collector i very rarely make a sidetrack for other series however much i like them. BUT!!! in the past i have in a moment of weakness fallen for items other than WWII. Strangely enough the company that pushed me over the...

    CS opens the gate

Being for many years now a passionate WWII Collector including toy soldiers i began to get rather tired and more than a little frustrated that the company/manufacturer where i spent most of my cash seemingly ignored requests to release items that should have have been covered many years ago. I...

    Battle of the Bulge

I will second that Harrie....The ubiquitous Weasel, a sadly neglected vehicle as far as toy soldier manufactures are concerned. and yet a vehicle that was widely used in Europe for just about any task that a G.I could dream up...!! Love to see one for Normandy and the Bulge, and then there is...

Hmmmnnn!!!. Your reply to this thread does"nt really add anything constructive does it??. I am fully aware of Thomas Gunn and Collectors Showcase who make first rate Fallschirmjagers. New Release: Patton Command Car WC57

Great Dodge WC57. Like it a lot..!!, Problem is i never did like Patton, far to gung-ho for my liking and there were far better generals in Europe, take Bradley for instance. with much more regard for his men and not a fame seeking Prima donna as Patton was. OK my question is how easy would it...

    Market Garden Chat

Considering the fact that Market Garden in the area of Arnhem took place at several locations it is obviously necesary if one wants historic correctness to build several dioramas, one for each action. Also considering the fact that most collectors have the well known space problem then we have...

Scott...If you are refering to the the Crete FJ"s then i don"t think this is very representive of what these figures could achieve. Crete was an important action and one where many lessons were learned, for Allies and Axis forces. Having said this i can understand that early war FJ"s were not at...
