Hi Marcus, I've been rather busy for a while so just catching up. I hope you had a great time at the London show...I'm afraid if I ever manage to be in London during one of the shows they would have to straight jacket me:D. I've been bouncing back and forth between aquiring some older WWII...

Hi Nasir, Been a while since I've had a chance to catch up. How are things on your side of the planet? Have you made any new acquisitions? My wife surprised me with some K&C Field of Battle Brits for my B-Day...but no Crusader:(...so I went out and bought one for myself:D. My usual TS dealer...

    Ww2 poll

Same here. Just picked up the Crusader and it's a really great piece. Here's hoping Andy releases a few more 8th Army sets this year.

Why I'd rather be K&C than General Motors!

If the first of the year releases are any indicator it should be another great year for collectors. K&C released some really fantastic pieces so far...Red Lancers..Komet..I'm really excited to see what's in store in the coming months!

Still love the AK range although the FOB range is also starting to develop nicely.

    Redcoat question

There does seem to be a shortage of officers and sergeants in the correct poses for many of the musket era series. I usually just try to find and adequate substitute or leave the figure off altogether. You could just say he jogged off to the nearby shrubbery to answer natures call or got deep...

    Turret and hull IDs

As someone who collects multiples the issue of some small variation to differentiate the tanks or artillery pieces is something that I would appreciate. That being said I'm just not sure enough people collect multiples of a $150-$180 tank or artillery piece to make it cost effective for the...

Which new (British) unit for WWI?

Very Good!:D I'd really like to see some French troops this year and maybe an early war artillery piece for the Germans. I do wonder how a Petain figure would be received.

    Who Collects FOB ?

I saw some actual early war footage of what appears to be one of those Polizie armored cars, or an almost identical variant, rolling through what looked like a Polish town. It brought the whole lack of "Eastern Front" representation to mind and I got to wondering if there is much interest in...

    The Cromwell

There is certainly a variety of Allied armor that could be produced for WWII. I hope the K&C Crusader is doing well as it would hopefully encourage the release of other less familiar tanks, not that I would turn my nose up at a winter Panther mind you;). I'm still hoping for a Firefly at some...

    Who Collects FOB ?

I've collected some of the FoB Brits in the past, however this past week I ordered my first French FoB figure FoB 018. I am really taken with FoB 037, the Renault R35 Tank so it will probably be my next purchase in this series.

Better days ahead - I hope.

That's encouraging news. I sincerely hope all continues to go well with her recovery. You and your family are in our prayers.

    Forthcoming dispatches.

Perhaps we'll see some additional 8th Army infantry? I'd really like to see a new allied artillery piece for this range.

If you guys can have only 1 armor this year...

    Dream would be a T34 but I'd settle for a M7.

Didn't appear in K&C Janurary dispatches

Congratulations to you and your family! Looks like you've got a future collector in the making there:)!

For those who purchase every month

Get paid...pay the bills...keep the wife and daughter happy...proceed to expend remaining sum on legions of little armed men...repeat process:D I've tried waiting on the dispatches just to ensure nothing I'd like to have is being retired but discovered a while back I'm not patient enough for...

Does this same approximate number hold true for individual figures such as the single napoleonics?

    Toy soldiers in movies

Didn't the Captain in Stripes play with some toy soldiers on his desk? Also Miracle on 34th Street, 90's remake, the evil Shoppers Express guy trying to takeover Cole's had a toy soldier set up on his desk in one of the scenes.
