    Found the figure! Decided to make the pose more extreme so I cut it at the waist and leaned the figure forward. Also changed the position of the left arm.

    Did another round of cleaning and found this katana. I had removed it from the hand grasping the hilt and lost it. Now reunited with the original figure with and empty scabbard.
