Brad, Thanks alot. I was thinking along the same lines. My biggest hang up is the mounting brackets as well. They're pretty basic, just a L shape mount. It's just getting the scale close. I'm thinking a trip to home depot may be in order to find something along those lines. Thanks again.

Has anyone out there converted a 21stC Blitz into a communications truck or ambulance? I'd like to give it a shot, but looking for tips on creating a hard body for the truck.

Thanks, Did you glue it or find a more secure way of keeping it in place. I was thinking I might have to drill 2 small holes in the hull And run a small screw thru it into the cutter to keep it secure. Any suggestions? Thanks

Has anyone tried or succeeded in attaching a Hedge cutter to a FOV or 21stC Sherman? I've taken one of the Hedge Cutters from a FOV Stuart & am planning on trying to mount it to a Sherman, but haven't figured out the best way to mount it. Any ideas out there? Thanks.

That's great to know. I could kick myself for not grabbing the one Deuce I saw at target. I'd feel alot better messing around with the action series 1st than diving right into the Enthusiest version. Much easier to forgive oneself for screwing up a $20 truck than a $50 one, chuckle. Speaking of...

Did you just use a dremel to cut/remove the canvas covering? That's my biggest question. The way it's attached makes me weary of cutting it off & accidentally FUBARing the whole thing. What I don't get is why Target only got the Elefant & Deuce once right before Christmas. I see the Abrams...

Ok, that's the last of them. Like I said earlier, there's a few things I'll change next time around. The main thing is trying to find a working hoist. I plan on having an engine suspended from it over the tank once Everything is said and done when I build another one.

Just sold the Mortar Carrier and Sold the Elefant last month. Currently working on a Chaffee.

This is my most recent project. I converted a FOV M16 MGMC into the 81mm Mortar Carrier. Had to take a Tamiya kit and add it to the FOV halftrack. I'm really pleased with how it came out.

Here's a FOV Elefant (action series, I didn't harm the enthusiests version, chuckle) I Repainted. I've always liked the Italian "mottled" paint scheme. I used some Archer Transfers to add the unit markings. Anyone know why FOV didn't include markings on the Elefants?
