    Upcoming First Legion Kursk Russians?

Thanks Brian! Glad to know they’re legit and hopefully with the recent China tariff reductions, they’ll be available for sale in the U.S. I had been thinking of getting some more FL Stalingrad Russians with their current sale, but I’d rather hold out for these. I need to get on FL’s newsletter...

    Upcoming First Legion Kursk Russians?

Another collector recently posted this photo in the Toy Soldier Collector Asia Facebook group, saying these were upcoming Kursk Russians from First Legion: The photo definitely looks like FL products, though I can’t independently verify the it as there haven’t been any previews of these...

    Around the Corner

That is an awesome collection, Louis! Are your Garand and Carbine dated to the WWII period or post-war variants? Both of mine are basically post war versions, but still look the part and perform well, especially with actual military surplus ammo…

    Around the Corner

Awesome to see another M1 Garand and M1 Carbine collector, Louis! I have both types myself, plus a couple M1As/M14s… They are fantastic rifles 😎

    WWII German Command Post

Thanks for confirming, Rob! They look great in your photos and your style of lighting makes the colors seem a little flatter and more natural…

    Tariff Executive Order Promotion!

It’s 2020 all over again! While I’m not happy about the outside circumstances leading to this sale, it is definitely worth taking advantage of, particularly for a few figures I had my eyes on… I can’t remember the last time I saw some FL figures priced at under $40!

    WWII German Command Post

Great scenes, Rob! The Marder Loader & War dog figures are great sets. I also really like the way those TGM mats come out looking in your photos as they always seem more “natural” than the way they come out in my pics, lol… That is unless you’re using Last Post Miniatures mats in those scenes 😉

    KUR010 Ferdinand #501

So based on Hilary Doyle’s research as relayed by Hunter Rose and Mastercom10 above, basically 1 Ferdinand was lost for every 12-13 Soviet tank destroyed in just the Battle of Kursk alone - not counting all the other battles and theaters in which the Ferdinand/Elefant saw service between August...

    More New Releases!

It is like the yellow/sand colored bases on many figures, not just First Legion ones… If one displays the figures on actual 3D terrain matting with long grass, the bases will conceal easily and could even be covered with hobby sand and other bits for better blending if desired. The First Legion...

    “Keep it Flying!”

Pics of my display of the new Bristol Blenheim Mk. IVF wooden aircraft model from Thomas Gunn Miniatures being prepped for a mission by my K&C RAF Ground Crew and Pilots. They are a perfect match. K&C’s RAF range is simply fantastic 😎

“Keep it Flying!” The New Bristol Blenheim Mk. IVF

Pics of my display of the new Bristol Blenheim Mk. IVF model from Thomas Gunn 😎 The figures are K&C RAF Ground Crew and Pilots with crates and fuel barrels from Thomas Gunn; the base are two TGM mats pushed together. In this scene, the ground crew and armorers are hard at work making final...

    Mission Brief, Villers-Bocage

Great setup, Mike! Lots of action and details, plus I really like your terrain. Those War Park “command group” figures are great as well.

    Prokhorovka-Tigers on the Move

Great pics, Mike! I can be an butt and say those mid/late production Normandy Tigers are the wrong type for the Battle of Prokhorovka (the Tigers used there were largely early production models like War Park’s “Tiki” Tiger I model used in my recent diorama of the same battle 😉) but that doesn’t...
