I used bluetac to attach the drum and started sculpting the sleeves.

I decided to change another leg. This leg was slightly smaller and I built up the shape and musculature.

I'm just using this lull phase in between the large dioramas to get more single figures done. Reviving this. I studied it for a while and decided to change the horse which was too static. So I selected another spare horse with a turned head and substituted a rear left leg to create a chafing pose.

Its a Brit Aussie thing, much like Pearl Harbor is for the Yanks. :):):) You'll of course have to visit the Ford Factory, Fort Siloso, Changi Prison and Bukit Chandu museums as well. As these exhibits are fairly well spaced out, allow at least 1-2 days to do all.

Hi All, Just reviving this piece. Decided to resculpt areas which were made with green putty. I also took the opportunity to square up the shoulders and redo the legs.

Another restart. Added the arms and will reposition the head.

Hi John, been a while but Im here now.... Decided to change the pose to create a more unique figure.

I shortened the legs by 8 mm and added barding to the horse. Will have to scour the inside of the fig to ensure a good seat.

I sprayed the fig with a grey primer. There are some flaws that need correcting. I've also selected a mameluke sword and drum major mace. getting there.

I scoured the underside of the figure to get a good seat on the pony.

Finished the sarouel pants. Very voluminous.
